Eclipse Evolution

This is the most recent shoot of the Eclipse series.... Im really happy with this shot. Our model being blonde doesn't fit the mould of this series instead she breaks it with a softer feel. This image like the rest of the series was shot in Rekha's Norwich photographic studio. Since this shoot she has uped sticks and moved away... just in time for me getting a diesel. Our creative love affair is far from over!

Hair wise alot of curling and backcombing... with a toutch of straightening and alot of hair spray and talc. It gives a nice bone like textured effect. I tend to use dry shampoo for strong contrasts with stencils and what not... or just oily hair. Talk gives me a full on texture transformation... and whats life without a little mess!?

when your base is this pale... how do you strongly highlight?... Face paint! I multi tasked using this on the eyelashes to, worked great. Added some white eyeliner, and using various colours blues, greens and black created a variety of looks getting darker as we went on. There's also some matte black lips in this set somewhere... which was actually Rekha's, Its always nice to have a play and try new products. I can't for the life of me remember the brand but it was like a liquid eyeliner for your lips. So in short, unless you have the time, patience, precision and a steady hand... it has the potential to drive you crazy!
