Yesterdays shoot took me back out to Mildenhall to work with Photographer Rekha Garton... and Model Chloe Manning. We last shot together with Chloe around 3 years ago? This girl has the most beautiful face!
We work really quite fast so had a really productive afternoon. We started with beauty like shots really quite natural hair and make-up.... then moved on to a more vixen lip for some stronger looks. Finally as we weren't ready to leave it at that we put our heads together and our love of darker styles and came up with this extension to our Eclipse series. Rekha has an obscene amount of props and outfits, (which i took full advantage of this Halloween) so we had a look through and found this bronze piece... teaming that with the softness of the top... galvanised tears were the obvious choice. A centre parting was smoothly created and pinned with back combing through the lower waves. MAC pigments were used for the bronze effects... consistency is the key here... practicing on my hand to try and get it thick enough to emboss and heavy enough to fall... but not too thin to drip uncontrollably. a thinner mix was made for the almost water coloured smeared eyes and painted fingers.
Just some friendly advice... don't do this freehand... with your hands.... over a cream carpet! I will be back there shooting tomorrow so will remember to bring some carpet cleaner! Sorry Rekha!
