Georgian Book Cover Shoot

One of the things I love most about being a hair and makeup artist is that no two days are ever the same. This beautiful Georgian-inspired book cover photoshoot was created for Archangel Images alongside the incredibly talented photographer Rekha Garton, who is always a joy to work with.

While 1920s and 1940s-inspired imagery has remained hugely popular in recent years, this project offered something a little different. The elegant Georgian styling brought a softness and romance that felt completely timeless.

For the hair, I created a structured period-inspired design that reflected the era while still working beautifully on camera. The makeup remained soft and delicate, with subtle skin work and a stronger emphasis on the lips to complement the character and styling.

Our model was an absolute pleasure to work with and brought such warmth and personality to the shoot. Days like these remind me how fortunate I am to work in such a creative industry, collaborating with talented people and helping bring stories to life through hair and makeup.
