My second creative shoot of the year arrived with very little warning and an exceptionally loose brief: "Ice Queen."
Sometimes those are the best projects.
With less than 24 hours to prepare, a talented team assembled, sleeves rolled up, and ideas quickly began to take shape.

What I love most about creative editorial work is the freedom to explore ideas that don't necessarily belong in everyday life. There are no rules, only possibilities.
Looking at the finished images, I love how painterly they feel. There is an almost eerie quality to them, like an old oil painting brought to life through texture, movement and atmosphere.
There was also a considerable amount of smoke involved, all within a fairly confined space, which certainly made for an interesting working environment!
Whilst weddings, beauty and commercial projects form a large part of my work, I always enjoy stepping into more imaginative territory. Creative shoots challenge you to think differently, experiment freely and continue growing as an artist.
A little fantasy and occasional madness are good for the soul.
