The latest instalment of our ongoing creative series, Eclipse, brought together dark beauty, dramatic styling, and a wonderfully talented team.
Photographed by Rekha Garton and featuring model Harriet Howard, this Norwich-based photoshoot continued the gothic aesthetic we have been developing throughout the project. Accessories were supplied by Samantha Walden, adding the perfect finishing touches to the final imagery.
For the hair, I combined Dutch braids with soft curls to create texture and movement, while the makeup focused on luminous skin, strong highlighting, and rich red tones around the eyes. The overall effect was ethereal, dramatic, and slightly mysterious.
As always with Rekha's projects, there was plenty happening behind the scenes too. Alongside hair and makeup duties, I somehow found myself operating the smoke machine, holding reflectors, and helping wherever needed.
This was my first time working with Harriet, who was an absolute dream in front of the camera. With flawless skin and a fantastic attitude, she helped bring the concept to life beautifully.
