Tyler.... just wow!

I've had the pleasure of working with Tyler on several occasions now, and she never fails to completely transform into whichever character she is portraying.

For this Georgian-inspired editorial photoshoot, photographed by Rekha Garton, we created a look that balanced historical influence with photographic beauty. Having worked together for many years, Rekha and I have developed a wonderful creative partnership, allowing us to bring ideas to life with ease.

The makeup was kept soft and natural, with gentle colour enhancing Tyler's features without distracting from the overall styling. The hair was where much of the detail lay. After creating a foundation of curls, I incorporated a structured updo using padding techniques and careful pinning to achieve the volume and silhouette associated with the period. This look was achieved within a short time frame using 3 dougnuts and 0 extensions.

Projects like this are always incredibly rewarding. While bridal styling makes up a large part of my work, editorial shoots allow me to explore more technical and creative hair design, keeping my passion for the industry alive after all these years.
