Shiny Pretty Things

Recently I was asked to provide hair and makeup for a commercial photoshoot with Lotus Cars, showcasing their latest branded clothing collection.
It turned out to be one of those jobs that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.
The team were fantastic from start to finish, and having the opportunity to spend time at the Lotus facility in Hethel was genuinely fascinating. We were given access to various areas across the site, including workshops where the incredible craftsmanship behind these iconic vehicles becomes apparent.
Seeing even a small glimpse of the skill, precision and attention to detail involved in creating each car was hugely impressive. Then, of course, there was the opportunity to be surrounded by the finished vehicles themselves, which wasn't exactly difficult to enjoy!
One of the things I value most about my career is the variety it brings. One day I may be creating bridal hair and makeup for a wedding in Norfolk, the next I'm working on a commercial campaign for an internationally recognised automotive brand.
It's that diversity that keeps every project exciting and every day a little different.
